Casey and Ethan Jones of Steiner Ranch, Texas became proud parents of quintuplets Friday, Jan. 16, 2009 at Seton Medical Center in Austin.
Steiner Ranch is located 15 minutes west of downtown Austin, on the south shore of Lake Travis
The babies, born by Caesarean section, were named Ryan Elizabeth, Lila Addison, Brooklyn Faith, Jack William and Britton Grace.
The quintuplets were born at 30 weeks and their development was monitored throughout Casey's pregnancy because she had developed preclampsia. A team of nearly 30 doctors, nurses and medical professionals helped with the delivery.
It is expected the babies will remain in the NICU until late March, which would have been their birth date had they been delivered full term.
The couple used intrauterine insemination to become pregnant.
