Yvonne and Rob Gilmour of Saskatoon, Sakatchewan made history July 28, 1999 when they became parents of the first quintuplets born in western Canada.
The quintuplets in order of birth are Simon Robert, Alexandra Marie, Madison Raeanne, Ryan Caleb and Sara Christine.
The three girls and two boys were 11 weeks premature. They were born at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.
