Raising one child can be challenging, but when your faced with multiples it can seem overwhelming.

Here we provide a list of organizations and groups designed to offer advice and guidance to those who already have multiples or who are expecting soon.

Multiple Birth organizations and groups:

Mississauga Parents of Multiple Births (MPOMBA)(Canada) is a non-profit organization that works on a community level to promote the health and well-being of expectant multiple birth families and families with multiple births before, during and after pregnancy. Our members live in Mississauga and the surrounding areas, including Oakville, Burlington, Toronto, Brampton, Georgetown, and Milton, among others.

We have been in the Mississauga area for over 20 years, and currently have over 300 member families. We typically meet once a month, but break for the summer.

The Multiple Births Foundation holds prenatal meetings in London (UK) for parents and grandparents expecting a multiple birth. Healthcare and other professionals are also welcome to attend.

Multiple Births Canada's mission is to improve the quality of life for multiple birth individuals and their families in Canada. We fulfill our mission by providing support, education, research, and advocacy both nationally and internationally to individuals, families, chapters, and organizations that have a personal or professional interest in multiple birth issues.

The Brisbane Multiple Birth Association – Westside Inc. (Australia) was formed in 1984 by a group of parents with twins or triplets seeking to establish a local support network in the western suburbs of Brisbane, focusing on the needs of families with multiples.

National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc.- NOMOTC promotes the concept of mutual support for parents of multiples. Opportunities for self-help and emotional support are provided through local and statewide meetings. The Membership Department operates a Support Service Program to assist individuals in special situations. These services include pen pals for parents whose multiples have disabilities or for parents who have disabilities affecting their childrearing abilities; Higher Order Multiples support for families with triplets, quadruplets and more
